Proposed development
D.G. Biddle and Associates Limited Robbins has submitted applications on behalf of Devon Downs Developments Limited for a Zoning By-law Amendment and Draft Plan of Subdivision at Adelaide Avenue east of Firwood Avenue in Courtice.
The proposal conforms to Clarington's Official Plan requirements for this area and seeks to facilitate the development of 16 single detached dwellings and 44 street townhouse units.
The total site area is 2.34 hectares (5.78 acres) in size.

Once registered, staff will provide further instructions. If you are attending in person, you do not need to pre-register as a delegate to speak at the meeting.

In accordance with Section 34(19) of the Planning Act, an appeal may only be filed by the applicant, the registered owner, Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing, or a specified person or public body that has interest in the matter.
If a person or public body would otherwise have an ability to appeal the decision of the Municipality of Clarington to the Ontario Land Tribunal but the person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submissions to the Municipality of Clarington before the proposed official plan amendment is adopted, the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision.
If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submissions to the Municipality of Clarington before the proposed official plan amendment is adopted, the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Land Tribunal unless, in the opinion of the Tribunal, there are reasonable grounds to add the person or public body as a party.
